calculators are the slowest unit in the game. they have some of the worse PA and MA and they have crappy HP an MP. so why should you even look at this unit? two words: Math Skill. calculators have been watered down for one reason, if they were as quick as other units then they would completely destroy everyone. see a calculator uses math to cast magic. heres an example. Ramza is level 10, the calculator is level 8, and the enemy is level 9. the calculator cast level3Holy. the enemy gets hit by holy and is killed. ramza and the calculator are un touched. see any unit that has a level that is a multiple of 3 is hit by whatever spell you chose. sounds great right? well theres two problems. first, you must have learned the skills in the right classes. if you didnt learn holy as a priest, then the calculator cant use it. second, you can hit your own team mates. this gets in the way alot. you think "man im going to hit every enemy with flare! wait...it will also hit ramza ad two other generics. dang!" its hard to get it linned up where it hits multiple enemies and no allies. there is a way around this though. ill explain it in the tips section.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
