to sum them up in as little words as possible, they're a knight that uses spears. but like every other comparison, there is always something more. a lancer can jump, and when i say jump, i mean jump. they literaly jump off the filed so high that no enemy unit can attack them till they come down. time it right and your guy may never be attacked in an entire battle. they have some of the best PA of any class, can equip heavy equipment and shields, and they can jump away from the enemy. all this adds up to one nice unit.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
