Stealing equipment, poaching monsters into rare items, quick, and has a high jump/move. what else could you want? ok well besides a good magic user or decent attacker. Thieves will definitly make the game better. of all the capabilities that i mentioned earlier, stealing is going to be the most helpful at the begining of the game, with poaching being the best at the end of the game. enemy units in random battles usually have better equipment than what is in the shop, so steal away. at the end of the game when you have access to all the rarer monsters, then poach away and reap the benefits.
